Taking the Assessment
What to expect from the NAVRYN personality assessment and how your results are generated.
The personality assessment is the foundation of your NAVRYN experience. This guide explains what to expect and how to get the most accurate results.
What is the Assessment?
NAVRYN's assessment is a comprehensive personality evaluation that measures you across multiple scientific frameworks:
- Big Five (OCEAN) - Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism
- HEXACO - Adds Honesty-Humility to the Big Five model
- OPQ (Occupational Personality Questionnaire) - Work-relevant personality traits
- Enneagram - Motivations and core fears
- MBTI-style preferences - Cognitive function preferences
How Long Does It Take?
The assessment typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete. You'll answer a series of questions about your preferences, behaviors, and reactions to different situations.
Your progress is saved automatically. If you need to take a break, you can return later and continue where you left off.
Tips for Accurate Results
Be Honest
Answer based on how you actually behave, not how you wish you behaved or think you should behave. There are no "good" or "bad" answers—the goal is to understand your authentic personality.
Go With Your First Instinct
Don't overthink questions. Your initial reaction is usually the most accurate reflection of your true preferences.
Think About Typical Situations
When answering, think about how you generally behave across different situations, not how you might act in one specific circumstance.
Avoid Neutral Answers When Possible
While neutral responses are valid, having too many can reduce the accuracy of your results. Try to indicate a preference when you have one.
Question Types
You'll encounter different types of questions:
Likert Scale Questions
Rate how much you agree or disagree with statements like:
- "I enjoy meeting new people"
- "I prefer having a detailed plan"
- "I find it easy to stay calm under pressure"
Forced Choice Questions
Choose between two options that both might apply to you:
- "I prefer working alone" vs "I prefer working in teams"
Situational Questions
How would you respond in specific scenarios related to work, relationships, or personal situations.
